Episode six of season 15 of "Law and Order: SVU" airs tonight at 9pm EDT on NBC. Tonight's episode titled "October Surprise" will parody the Anthony Weiner, Carlos Danger scandal. A candidate for New York City Mayor will be thrown for a loop when he is accused of sexting with a 15-year-old girl. SVU district attorney Barba will be dealing with some personal issue this episode as his childhood friend, Eddie Garcia is arrested for attempted rape. Garcia is working on the campaign of Alex Munoz, the leader in the NYC mayoral race.

Tonight's episode of "Law and Order: SVU" will be available for viewing online at at least 12-hours after the show airs on TV. Other episodes of "SVU" from this season and past seasons are also available online. Tonight's "Law and Order" will mock the Carlos Danger scandal of one time mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner. Carlos Danger was the name generated for Weiner on a website he was using to sext with other women. Tonight on "Law and Order" the fictional candidate Alex Munoz, will be known online as "Enrique Trouble."

Last July Anthony Wiener's hops of becoming the next Mayor of New York City went up in flames as yet another scandal was leaked to the media. Weiner had already gotten in trouble once for cheating on his wife and carrying on multiple online relationships. Promising never to do it again Weiner retreated from the political scene until showing up in New York wanted to be the next mayor. The former Congressman was caught sending explicit photos and texts to 23-year-old Sydney Leathers, who is now launching a porn career. While the real Carlos Danger had to give up his bid for mayor there is no telling what will happen tonight on "Law and Order."

The 21st season of the show premiered on September 26, 2019, and it just might be one of the best seasons yet. So far, we have seen our favorite set of detectives go through hell and back to make sure the perpetrators are caught. In one episode, Amanda Rollins puts her life in danger to catch a former detective who has gone rogue. Carisi goes against his protocols by bending certain rules to help a victim. Benson, on the other hand, is reeling after losing the love of her life, Tucker, forever. As far as Kate is concerned, well, she still needs to work on her impulse control.

That is the question on Law & Order: SVU fans' minds after last week's shocking season 15 premiere, which featured Detective Olivia Benson being brutally tortured by Billy (Pablo Schreiber). Yes, she eventually escaped and took him down, but she's clearly going to be feeling the effects, physically and emotionally, from the attack for a long time.

Since its inception in 1989, NBC's "The More You Know" campaign has produced Emmy Award and Peabody Award-winning public service announcements that educate and raise awareness about important societal issues ranging from prejudice to parental involvement. "The More You Know" is the longest-running, most comprehensive network public service campaign in the media landscape.

The Following starring Kevin Bacon (which aired on CTV last year in the Monday 9 p.m. time slot) took this approach last season, with 15 consecutive episodes from January to April, a departure from the usual format of 22 original episodes spread over a season with repeats in between. In a first for CTV, spots promoting the drama urged viewers to set their PVRs for the show.

Viewers can expect more networks to stack original episodes together this year, says Malcolm Dunlop, executive VP, television programming at Rogers. For instance, in the U.S., ABC will air Betrayal, a new drama about an affair between a photographer and a lawyer, in the fall with 12 consecutive episodes, and follow that with Resurrection, a fantasy drama about people believed to be dead reappearing, in mid-season. City will broadcast both shows this season, but has not scheduled a slot for Resurrection as yet. 153554b96e
